Simply gorgeous jewel green, teal velvet maxi dress, with voluminous balloon sleeves and a long cuff, tight along the forearm and fastening with a row of covered buttons. Hand tailored in Hong Kong in the 1970s and beautifully done to match the popular Gunne Sax or Laura Ashley style of the time. It is fabulous for wearing during a freezing cold winter too!
It would also work really well accessorised up to be a steampunk dress as it has a typical Edwardian or Victorian feel especially with the exaggerated puffineness of the the leg of mutton sleeves and rich teal colour. It feel very Arts and Crafts, Pre Raphaelite and would look fantabulous with a mane of copper coloured hair.
